. #4. Ah yeah I understand what you're referring to, most games on initial startup allow you to adjust the brightness. Looking into it pgup/pgdw seems to be the common method employed, although some suggest turning HDR off or modifying the in system/cfg. "BLOOM_BASE=1 (default)" '".
Youwill find assetto optimisation guides for VR with a bit of googling. Get content manager, CSP and SOL if you can, they have more settings. If you can, you can play with lod bias and lod bias multiplier. It also features a much better shadow rendering. Make sure you follow VR guides. Settings are different from non VR. Have fun, it is worth it !
Oneimportant tip : Get a good USB-C charger and USB-C cable to keep your Quest 3 charged when racing, since the battery does discharge pretty fast
Ihave Quest 2 VR headset, and I am trying to play AC with a oculus link. My System specs are I7 7700K, 1070 GTX and 16RAM. I am a bit confused on what graphical settings should I run on that specs. Currently I run on following settings, with many extensions off, and some modified to gain some fps.
Inthe video settings there should be a way to output as openVR. That should be how it goes to the headset. Also assuming you know to start SteamVR also so it can see your headset. I'm using the Quest 2 with the Link and I don't use OpenVR. I just launch it from the Content Manager after enabling Link in the headset.
With1080gtx VR pixel density 130% is max with epic quality on everything else, so I wouldn't touch that with 1070. If you wan't use steams SS instead that can be done in smaller increments. Interesting. It's perfectly fine for me on 2700X/1070 with 130% everything medium.
KvFfX. LaunchAssetto Corsa (either via content manager or through steam) Navigate the menus with mouse and keyboard until I am in the pit, ready to drive. Click drive, wait for the view from the car to show up, then power on my HMD and connect to virtual desktop. At this point I can hear sound through the HMD speakers and see the game in cinema mode.

Justbought a Quest 2 and getting ~35-40fps in VR. Alone, no extra cars. I got the settings turned down low and most settings in csp turned down low as well. To my understanding theres something fishy going on since my rig should be able to handle this? MSI Geforce 2080 i58600k 16GB RAM 3300mhz 1TB M2SSD

Feelfree to take a look at my mods on Patreon. 2REAL PP-Filter + CSP Settings (VR) This filter I made expecially for VR users but you can also use without VR.
Zen2 CPUs just don't have the power, Zen 3 is minimum for 90hz VR without having to make massive compromises in settings such as visible cars less than 10 and mirrors off. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see DLSS and I think the arguments from Kunos for not supporting it are BS, but it won't be the panacea that people think.
